Hi everyone! I hope your holiday season is running along smoothly and your families are getting plenty of time with you. If you’ve been following along with these blogging tips and doing all of your action steps, you should be starting to see a little progress. Of course, you shouldn’t freak out if you’re not seeing TOO much progress just yet. It’s still early, and we have plenty of tips to help get you where you want to be.
So let’s just jump in today with more supercharged blogging tips, shall we? Great, let’s go!
Take a good look at your blog, right now. Yes, I know what you’re about to say, and it’s perfectly okay to leave me “waiting” here until you get back. This is really important. You might only have a few posts up, but there’s an important concept that I need to share with you. It revolves around the subject of making money, and having your blog make money for you.
Your blog’s purpose is two-fold: one, it has to reach people. That’s the first point that cannot be overlooked. When you’re not reaching people, you’re not positioning your blog to do anything but look pretty in a sea of already pretty blogs. That’s not what we’re striving for here. We’re trying to do more than just look pretty and nice.
The second purpose of your blog is to make money, and this is also a point that cannot be stressed hard enough. You need to make sure that your blog is set up to make you money, and that’s something that a lot of people struggle with. There’s nothing wrong with providing great information and getting paid for it in one way or the other. You have obligations that need to be met, and things that you want to buy like anyone else.
Think on it this way: would you expect to get free service from your mechanic, doctor, lawyer, or taxi driver? Of course not. If you tried to leave a taxi without paying, you would be in serious trouble. Therefore, it’s silly to expect to get information that’s completely free. While it’s true that your readers may not be paying you directly, there should still be a mechanism in place to help you make money no matter what comes.
So today’s question is simple: is your blog working hard for you, or are you working hard for it? Now, this might sound like an awkward question to ask, but it’s actually very important.
One of the first things that you will need to think about carefully is what you are building for yourself. A blog should grow into something automatic; as long as you are making posts and keeping it active, it should work on making money for you. Like an employee, your blog should be loyal, dedicated, and committed to the pursuit of making money for the company (in this case, your company…you!). When your blog isn’t doing that, then you need to manifest your inner manager and see what needs to be fixed in order to make that work.
You may need different content. You might need to engage your readers more. You might just need to give it time. You have to cycle through a list of solutions until you find the right one. No one knows the future, but you can set your blog up so that it’s the perfect employee — just the way you deserve!

Thx for the headup
@Kandis Mutton: you’re very welcome.
It was certainly interesting for me to read this post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon.
