Before we get into today’s blogging tips, I just wanted to get a few things off of my chest. I wanted to let each and every one of you know that I’m proud of you. You see, if you’ve been following along for a while, then you’re already taking action steps. You’re already doing what so many people fail to do, and that puts you far, far ahead, even more than you’ll ever know. You know, I talk to my wife about this blog and its readers quite often. I always am floored by how many of you are building your own blogs, getting traffic and really taking advantage of the ability to create a real income stream out here for you and your family.
So today, I wanted to talk about something related to all of this, and that’s letting success chase you, and not the other way around. You see, when you’re starting out, it seems like it would be easier just to chase success at any cost, and doing whatever it takes to put another income stream on the table for you and your family. However, that’s not what you want to do at all. Instead, you will need to make sure that you are letting success come to you.
This means that you will need to be selective with what types of blog monetization you use on your blog. You don’t want to always go with whatever the latest trend is. Sticking with “tried and true” methods of making money through your blog is far better than just promoting whatever has the best payoff for your blog. Over time, you will only make it so that people don’t trust you as much as they should trust you, and then it’s all downhill from there.
So, today’s homework is simple: I want you to pull out those goals that you made when we first started this journey. Then I want you to go over your progress. Do the two items match up? Are you moving along, or are you having problems? You might want to see how your goals match up with what you’re doing to get to those goals. If you do that, then there’s no reason to worry about success, as it will definitely find you in good time!

It’s not me chasing the success, nor the other way around. It’s pretty much like ‘we’ are going in totally different directions LOL!
