Let’s start today’s “class” with a question that I would like you to think about today: just what is a product? Is a product something that you own, or only something that you feel a large company would own? It’s just something I want you to think about, and believe me: my reasons will become clear by the end of this post.
You see, we’re talking about making money with your weblog. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to do this, actually: if you can sustain part of your living expenses with a blog, that’s less work that you will have to do overall. This gives you more time to not only spend with your family, but it’s also extra time that you can contribute to your blog in the first place. You won’t have to try to figure out how to juggle between your blog and your other obligations. Over time, you’ll work your way up to a full time income that you can be proud of. That’s the entire goal here, and today’s post should help you get there.
The reality of the matter is that you will need to think about what you could offer your audience in a big way. That’s all that a product is: something that can last with your audience for a long time, that can also be sold at a profit.
Now, when it comes to a product, one of the first things that you might have problems with is trying to figure out the right price to actually go with. The last thing that you will want to deal with is not being able to make any money from your blog because your product is priced too low. However, the simplest way to make sure that you fix this is to go with a more three-dimensional pricing structure. You don’t have to make all of your blog’s money with a single product. Why not build out a chain of products that all connect together?
This is honestly the way to go if you’re serious about getting things done in a big way with your blog anyway.
For example, you could have a lead in product that is low priced, so that your audience can get to know you and the information that you provide. From there, you will be able to just sell higher priced products as you go along, because you will have already won over their trust. What could be better than that?
Homework time! By now, you should have gotten to know your audience pretty well. What are some products that you can come up with? Why are they special? Will they serve your audience well in the short as well as long terms? These are all thoughts that you will need to think about. Have fun!

Sometimes the question is more like ‘what kind of products can I offer?’. And eventhough I have one, basic knowledge wont be too easy to beat the affiliate marketers and another product owners weblog… Isn’t there any other kind of fast money making I can do online?
