Some Important WordPress Plugins You Should Consider

February 23, 2011

wordpress-pluginsWordPress blogs are very blessed because there are many free resources only, such as finding WordPress themes and WordPress plugins, easy access. Yes, WordPress itself is already SEO friendly and can get you ranked high in search engines for specific keywords. Many of the plugins, therefore free to use or even modify to your specific needs.

There are some plugins that you should consider to install in your blog:

All in One SEO Pack

I consider this one of the most important on my list. Why? Because it offers a lot of SEO options (without having to learn HTML, of course). For example, you can have your blog title of the personalized homepage and as for all your messages. You can add keywords and meta description (which, by default, WordPress does not offer).

Do it now, you have nothing to los.

Google XML Sitemap for WordPress

Building a xml sitemap with all your messages, links, pages, etc. and sends it to Google, MSN and others. There are more options offered as well.

No-Follow Free

Eliminating the no-follow tags in your blog comments Worpress. I do not know what to say about this ..  Well, knowing that by default WordPress no-follow tag is not placed on the PE to the left and ignore the links so people do not spam your blog with comments. However, it depends on whether you want to use it or not.

Google Analytics

Allows you to add the Google tracking code in your blog without having to change the subject files.

Simple Tags plugin

This tag allows you to add Technorati tags anywhere in your blog. Simply put the keyword in the middle [tags] [/tags], after posting the message, the text link to Technorati, so it is easy for users to Technorati Add to your blog.

Surveys WordPress

Allows you to add polls to your website, as you can see in my bar lateral links. Once a survey is created, add a widget. Contact the creator of this plugin if you need any help.

Social Bookmarks

With this plugin users can select your blogs and share them with friends.

Well … I personally consider these the most important. Depending on your needs, you may have other “top 5 plugins” or “top 10 plugins” lists. I would be happy to have this ever-expanding list based on your feedback, so if you have other plugins to recommend, the freedom to do and I’ll add to the list.
