In order to really build something awesome with your blog, you have to have the right foundation. I know that I keep harping on this fact, but it really is true: in order to go anywhere, you need the foundation to get there.
In this case, I’m referring to a web hosting account. Now, you might be using a free hosting solution for your blog, and there’s nothing wrong with that. When I first got started, I went that direction. However, this path has a few problems. For starters, you have very little control over the way anything looks. If something needs to be changed quickly, you are still at the mercy of the free web host. With so many people needing their own web space to get things done, it’s highly unlikely that a web host will change their ways simply to please you. So you either have to deal with their rules, or find somewhere else to be.
You might realize that you could run your own server software, but this path also has problems. For starters, it takes a lot of computer power to run a web server that can withstand serving pages to hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people around the world. It’s unlikely your computer has that type of power.
At the end of the day, it’s simply better to use a web host.
Now, you might think that finding a web host these days is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but this isn’t the case either. Indeed, you’re usually only a few quick search engine results from the right web host. But let me tell you, that based on my experienced, there are only two hosting companies which are the best for you to start: Bluehost and Hostgator. I’ve been using many hosting services from many hosting companies and those two companies I mentioned never let me down. Well now I’m moving to a bigger hosting company since my blog traffic become higher each day.
If you take no other piece of advice from this little post of mine, listen to this: take your time. You can switch web hosts at any time when you aren’t looking at a contract to sign, but the reality is that once you set down roots with one host, you might not want to leave. This means that it’s up to you to really find the host that works for you. That’s really all there is to it, so why not search for your perfect web host today?

Ok now what if the ammount that each blog make in a month can’t cover the monthly fee of the webhost? Do I really have to grab my personal savings for that? It doesn’t sound wise, does it?
@Rob Dulch: You have to make a plan for each of your business and you should do exactly the same with blogging or internet business. If you set a certain goal each month then I think you won’t get any problem in paying webhost bill. Maybe you need to pay the webhost with your saving money in the first few months, but let’s say that’s the capital needed to start the business.
I’m a newbie and i use free web hosting for my first blog, maybe next time i will try it if my money enought to pay bill
Yes you should. But take your time, don’t be hurry. Blogging is more about passion than a race. I’m sure you can reach whatever you’ve been planning for as long as you still have passion and focus on it.
Tetap semangat!
